As world police there is an integrity and power we must show (arrogant as can be). As a person who works behind a register I empathize with the customer and when I am on the other side I empathize with the rep behind the register. We live in such a demanding society that makes people “A$$ Holes” to those who work in that field. I once heard someone tell me that “I am the wrong person for you to mess wit because I will chew you up and spit you out”. Not realizing I have little to no power in the big corporation I work for. The rules are handed down from the corporate offices by a group of “men of power” who decide what the public needs then subliminally send messages to them via commercials to get their products. I usually let people vent out their frustrations. Because many things can be bothering them and the only satisfaction they get is to feel dominant against a person who is under restraints and has to stand their smiling politely and take abuse. I use to think until someone is behind the register they will never know how it feels. It is Hilarious when an irate customer comes in and meets an employee who is fed up with their job. The Employee really rip them a new one Then I feel sorry for the customer because that person can’t get a break in life. This whole world in Nucking Futz !
