AT&T and the employee- the art of getting rid of and unwanted employee
Employee #1- he is a very confident seller hard worker and doesn’t like to be talked down to.
Employee #2- he does his job and does it well he is not willing to bend the rules or course people into buying just to make a sale. Cool kid very “hood” down wit that hip hop nation.
Employee #3- good salesmen happens to be bi-polar a disability which causes depression manic style. But does his job and does it well all makes and exceed quota.
Employee #4- Yours truly does his job meet with a lot of adversity and betrayal but presses on for the better of others.
Employee #5- The sales rep I blogged about in my last Blog so I won’t got into detail with this one.
Employees to former employees- All These employees worked for AT&T and all were in some way treated unfairly by the company then tossed away for voicing their opinion. And they are all my friends that I keep in contact with mounting up a defense in order to sue AT&T for the protection of other employees. This is our story! (Theme song dah dah dah ....dah Wait I can not plagiarize people's court for get the them song)
AT&T the company with a plan everyone must bend to our whim or suffer our wrath. (Maniacal laugh) HA HA HA HAH! Man to do the deed M&M.
Getting rid of #1 and 5 M&M devised a plan to schedule him odd hours and use the saying “it is for the best of the company”. A regular work week before M&M’s managing style openers worked 8:30am to 5:30pm closers are 11:30pm to 8:30pm randomly 5days a week 2 days off. Under M&M Mon. you open Tues. you close Wed you open off on Thurs. open Fri. and Sat off on Sunday. Not really conventional for a sales rep they need to train and master their skill of selling consistently. These affect sales in a negative manner which leads to write ups of the employees for not meeting a quota that is raised when goals are meet up. The routine the rep has created is now broken up because of a schedule that doesn’t help them concentrate. I haven’t even touched on the outside life factor due to the change. Crime voicing his opinion on the schedule Punishment forced resignation typed by the manager signed by the employee.
Getting rid of Employee # 2 and 4 create a false sense of security let everything stay calm while gathering as much dirt from them. No one is squeaky clean dig in their closet and find the skeleton make one up if you have to.#2 is Chinese but he is cool with the blacks he speaks their slang and has their attitude. Accuse him of saying the N word ( Niggah black slang used by another black person while communicating with each other, example “ what’s up my niggah nothing chill my niggah”) No one has ever heard him say it but if we push him into a corner saying we have three witnesses he might confess to it and quit Crime not selling an old lady a media package for her cell phone. (she doesn’t even want it on the phone) along with not charging her the 20$ extra for not taking the package. How dare he discount the phone for and old lady! Punishment forced resignation manager types it employee signs it. As for employee # 4 accuse him of stealing, sexual harassment, and then terminate him for misconduct. Crime being to revolutionary stirring the pot and bringing the Union involved in our practices along with a blog full of potential customers threatening our business. Punishment- Make sure we terminate him with extreme prejudice send a message to the others so they won’t defy our will.
Getting rid of #3 he is on FMLA transfer him to another store schedule him to report there a week after he is off of FMLA and not tell him wait until he calls. #3 reports to his old store and is told he is transferred to another store he calls the manager and he is told he is on a final warning for not showing up to work for one week company says they contacted him via his company owned cell phone. He was in a rehab center for bi-polar people no cell phones allowed. He never got the message; he goes back into his depression after hearing the news. Company loophole in order to go back into FMLA after returning you must complete at least 3 days straight of work. #3 could not so he went back to rehab. Crime – being sick on company time. Punishment- Terminated Via telephone over company loophole.
The morale of this story is I am not the first nor will I be the last. The Union can only help with everyone’s situation.
I remember one sunny day when M&M was doing his monthly visit of stores a Young lady had an interesting comment said to her by him when M&M left she cried. This young lady was a sales rep with the company. She was good at selling with honesty and kind at heart girl nest door type of person. She began talking to M&M and she told him that she is going back to school to get her degree in telecommunications in order to move up in the company. M&M then says to her “why do you need to go back to school for you have ample opportunity to make money as a sales rep". Little did he know he just discouraged a young lady who lost her father and looked up to M&M as a father figure due to him smiling in your face and well you know the rest. This young lady really wanted to get her degree she cried after that statement was uttered to her. She confided in me asking what she should do. I said follow your heart , you have a 2yer old boy a husband working 2 jobs very low income even with your job combined. You pretty much have nothing to loose but everything to gain with that degree. Why settle for 11,000 a year when at entry level in telecommunications you can be making from 35,000-50,000 a year. She decided to take the risk for the prize ahead her bachelor's degree in telecommunications. She then tries to work out a schedule with the manager who happens to worship the almighty dollar. This lady told the little innocent sales rep she cannot accommodate her school schedule due to the businesses needs. In other words we own you and you work when we tell you. Check this out the sales rep had to organize a schedule to fit school work and raising a child. She came up with something comparable but was denied the part time employment request. She stood firm and organized another schedule and again was denied. The dollar worshiper says “If I can't schedule you according to business needs then you are at the wrong job" the sales rep cries and once again comes to me. She state how she likes the company and wants to move up but and all she has gotten was harsh remarks. I told her to pray on these emotions you are e going through right now because you have reached a crossroad in your life. Your priorities have changed a child is in the picture sit with your husband and talk this through together. A week later she quits the job and went back to school, I spoke to her a few days ago letting her know my story and she said " I am so glad I left”.” I am close to graduating with my associates at the community college, and then I will be transferring for 2 more years at FAU". "Since I left I lost 6lbs of stress that was killing me, I have not have a headache since". I told her be well you are on the right path!

I found out they are still monitoring my blog possibly my e-mails and phone tapping. I got my info from M&M the District manager of AT&T south Florida during our last meeting. He slipped up and mentioned that “If you slander the company you can get sued for deformation"' I laugh at such a threat I should be suing them for deformation. What the company really should do instead of wasting time and money paying people to watch me is really investigate M&M's turnover ratio with employees working for the company and how many quit or get fired under his reign of sales. Yes the company is ranking in the billions 75bill to be exact. They are the most stressful environment to work for they pressure you as if they are saving lives by selling cell phones. They now it is a fact that south Florida is in the top five states with the highest leading cause of accidents is cell phone talkers while driving. Wow it's like a high concentration of nicotine it will eventually kill you. By no means am I out to slander the company I have nothing against the company I forgave all who conspired against me and moved on. I really feel sorry for those who are left behind. The company really put fear into their hearts and they are in a sort of slavery like work place. That just my opinion but if you worked some place and your manager tells you who you can and cannot talk to when you are of the clock then that means he owns you. I have been telling many of my fellow workers about the modern day slavery. They just think I am just some radical liberal Maybe I am but I love all and want to see everyone prosper even those who hate me. Therefore I will not and by my nature can not slander the company because I have love for them. All I want is a proper investigation for all due process. Let the people go free to live and play, allow the college students to go to school get an education why ruin others future just to secure the companies money goals.
Telephone tapping (or wire tapping/wiretapping in the US) is the monitoring of telephone and Internet conversations by a third party, often by covert means. May be I am just paranoid but I do believe that the Old company is recording my calls to and from reps that still work for them. I did a small experiment to see if it's just me or are we being tapped. I call an emplyee from one of the stores in my district and the call had a delay in the conversation's sound quality. I shrugged it of as nothing at first we were talking basketball nothig more. Then it started to get annoying, I told her I will call back.I called on my cell phone and the delay was gone. I then called back on the previous phone. The delay was back, I tried call others no delay was heard. A few days go by and a rep in the old company calls and she tells me that she wants to know if i talked about her on my blog I said no and you can read my blogs to find out. She then tells me all the details of our conversations were repated during a team meeting in the old company. mind you she did not work in the same store I use to work in. Could we have been recorded? It makes me think take a gander at Steven Colbert's look on things
Now a conspiracy theroist would think that the Old company has other agendas with global intent. Since our Chief and commanding officer has allow monitoring of phone conversations maybe I am targeted? I mean the old company took over all of the USA the head honcho is from Texas like our President possibly part of a elitest group that all "men of power" join. We are in the state were the Pres's Brother was govener. Ahhh it's just my over active imagination lions, tigers, and bears oh my! But it is really funny that the meetings are covering all the conversations I have is no one safe or are we victums of an over active imagination.
